While giving a dental chew regularly is a fun way to reward your pet and provide some health benefits, we need to remember this also adds more calories to their total daily intake. You may need a make a slight decrease in their regular feed each day to accommodate this, but be sure you are still feeding enough that your dog is meeting its daily nutrient requirements (you can always ask your vet if you’re not sure).
